Public Resources

Carle Gallery

The Carle Gallery is located on the third floor and opened in September 2013. The gallery seeks to honor and support local artists by providing an opportunity for emerging artists to present their work professionally. Admission is free, with new exhibits every month.

Public Computers

Public computers are located on the first and second floor of the library. The ground floor has four public computers, as well as a print station. The second floor has 10 public computers, as well as two computers reserved for those who are visually impaired. You are allowed a one-hour session per day that may be extended to two hours if a computer is available. All computers have audio/video and headphones are available upon request.

Printing is available for 10¢ per page for black & white, and 50¢ a page for color.

Wireless internet connections can be made anywhere in the library.

Meeting Rooms

Butte Public Library has three meeting rooms available for public use. The Frank Little Room is spacious enough for business meetings and other small group meetings. It contains tables, chairs, a podium, and a chalkboard. The Big Butte Room is perfect for public forums, large group meetings, or workshops and can hold approximately 50 people.  It contains tables, chairs, a wide-screen television, and a DVD player. The basement Community Room is an ideal space for less formal gatherings, such as club meetings.
